Yet He remains GOD, undoubtedly…

Happy New Year, dear friends and readers. This is a first for me, to start my first post in the first few days of the new year. Usually I don’t get my acts together until about March.

2015 is a year to look forward to and I’m already feeling it. But here’s the thing…and I’d like to encourage you. God is God, regardless of what you see, feel or experience.

This will probably be an addendum to my last post. 2014 was a year of blessing. Yes, in spite of the many setbacks I experienced. I remember when we lost one of our cars through a freak accident a week after we buried my mum. It was a rather odd feeling. I couldn’t rejoice. It wasn’t that I loved the car or anything. It was the timing.

Yet we had reason to be thankful. The car was meant to be parked inside the compound, yet we made that last minute decision. And all we lost was the car. It could have been more.

Some things just makes you break down in teats and it’s not the tears of hopelessness. It’s the outpouring of grief so that you can be relieved. It’s the tears you shed because you just have to.

And some things just make you jump high for joy. When you have that assurance that your life, your future is secure in God.

I’m finally getting this issue of seasons. My wonderings have finally found a resting place. I’ve finally seen that when it rains, I get an umbrella. That’s how the forecast works. I must choose not to worry either about the drought or the rain. They’re just born at different times in the same year.

That’s why God remains God, undoubtedly.

I just love oxymorons.

Welcome to 2015. This is a year that will explode with God’s goodness.
